TORONTO — January 31, 2022 — Systemic Therapeutics Corp. announced the appointment of its founding management team, including Dr. Fady Hannah-Shmouni, MD DABIM FRCPC, as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Hannah-Shmouni, a board-certified endocrinologist and biochemical geneticist, co-founded Systemic Therapeutics to develop novel therapeutic solutions at the intersection of endocrinology, metabolic medicine, and precision pharmacology.
“Systemic Therapeutics is built on the principle that addressing root-cause hormonal and metabolic dysregulation can fundamentally change patient outcomes,” said Dr. Hannah-Shmouni. “We are building a science-driven company to advance this mission.”
Dr. Hannah-Shmouni previously served as Principal Investigator and Associate Program Director at the National Institutes of Health (NICHD), where he led research into adrenal and growth hormone disorders. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and serves as Founding Editor-in-Chief of Endocrine and Metabolic Science (Elsevier).
